Some of us bounce out of bed ready to attack the new year with renewed vigour. For others who may have overindulged the night before, getting out of bed might be more of a struggle. In whatever state you rise on New Year’s Day, one thing is certain – it’s vital you kick-start the day with a quality breakfast!

We’re glad you asked! Hasting’s Coffee Co. at The Westport Club is open on New Year’s Day to ensure you get 2017 off to the best possible start. With views across the Hasting’s River to die for, and a menu that will please any palette, you just can’t go wrong at Hasting’s Coffee Co. Whether it’s a light breakfast or something more substantial, we’ve got you covered. Want to get your healthy new year’s resolution started on the right note? Our range of all-day super salads and gourmet sandwiches will do the trick. Or maybe you want to treat yourself with something a little more exotic instead? We’ve got a selection of sliders that will be tough to decide between.

Some of the dishes on the menu include:

  • Pancakes with ironbark maple, shaved coconut and vanilla mascarpone
  • Smoked salmon omelette with cherry tomato, dill, roasted sweet potato and baby spinach on charred sourdough bread
  • Sourdough or wholegrain sandwich with herb stuffed mushrooms, lettuce, tomato, haloumi and chipotle mayo (served toasted or fresh with crunchy fries)
  • Shredded pork slider with Swiss cheese, dill pickle cucumber, tomato and gochujang chilli
  • Raw cosmic salad with mixed herbs, lettuce, apple, fennel, beetroot, quinoa, sprouts, avocado, tahini dressing and sauerkraut

There’s also a selection of delicious baked treats for those with a sweet tooth, and our expert baristas make the best coffee on the NSW Mid-North Coast. And let’s face it, who isn’t looking for a great coffee (or two) on New Year’s Day?

The Hasting’s Coffee Co. will be open from 7.30am. So if you’re an early riser, we’ll be there to look after you. If you need an extra few hours sleep after a big night, that’s OK too. We’re open all day.

In fact, if you swing by after 4pm you can order from our amazing pizza menu. Classic favourites can be found such as the Carnivore and Hawaiian, plus a couple of unique offerings such as The Mid-North Coast (tiger prawns, truffle salami, tarragon and baby spinach) and The Harvest (roast pumpkin, feta, basil, caramelised onion, pine nuts and pomegranate molasses).
